Active Ingredient: Comfrey Root Fluid Extract. Areas of application: Adults : For the external treatment of pain and swelling in knee joint arthrosis of degenerative origin; Acute muscle pain (myalgia) in the back area; Sprains, bruises and strains after sports and accident injuries. Children from 8 years and adolescents: For the external treatment of sprains, bruises and strains after sports injuries and accidents. Warnings: Contains Peanut Oil, Butyl, Ethyl, Methyl, 2-Methylpropyl and Propyl-4-Hydroxybenzoate (Parabens), Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Fragrance (Perfume Oil) with Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal , limonene, linalool, and rosemary oil.

Type of application
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, adults and children from the age of 3 years use Kytta ^® pain ointment as follows: Depending on the size of the body part to be treated and the severity of the symptoms, 2 to 4 times a day approx. Apply 6 g (corresponds to a strand of ointment of 4-18 cm) and massage in carefully.

For more severe symptoms, an ointment bandage can be applied. For this purpose, 10-20 g of ointment is applied once a day and covered with suitable bandage material.

Duration of use
The application can be continued until the symptoms have subsided or as directed by the doctor. Do not use Kytta ^® pain ointment in children aged 3-12 for longer than 1 week.

Patient information
Particular caution is required during use

• do not use Kytta® pain ointment for longer than 1 week in children aged 3-12 years
• in patients with an allergic pre-existing condition, as they are more prone to hypersensitivity reactions

Patients using the drug for the first time should apply it to small areas, e.g. B. on the wrist, test for compatibility.
If the symptoms do not improve within 3-4 days of self-treatment with the drug, a doctor should be consulted.

Pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy and lactation should only take place after consulting a doctor.
